WATER SUPERINTENDENT - RIDGEWOOD WATER

RIDGEWOOD, NJ

The Village of Ridgewood, Bergen County, NJ, is seeking a full-time Water Superintendent for Ridgewood Water.

Under the Direction of the Director and Deputy Director/Licensed Operator of Ridgewood Water, the successful candidate will: 1) Supervise the distribution, laboratory and treatment divisions in the development and execution of operation, construction, testing, inspection, maintenance and repair of water systems and equipment; 2) Lead NJDEP and EPA compliance, including preparation and submission of all applicable regulatory reports and oversight of samplings programs and regulatory testing; 3) Assist with the financial and operational planning of the Water Utility. On occasion the Superintendent may be required to work after scheduled hours to supervise work or attend meetings. The candidate should have a minimum five (5) years of experience in the maintenance, operation and repair of a water distribution and/or water treatment system, three (3) years of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity, and a minimum T2 and W2 water licenses, and track towards T4/W4 and future licensed operation of the utility.

The salary range is $75,000 to $180,000, commensurate with education, licensing and experience.
